Why Book from Koh Samui?

Koh Samui is the main departure hub for Ang Thong Marine Park tours — the vast majority of operators depart from Nathon Pier on the island's west coast, about 30–45 minutes from the park by speedboat or 60–90 minutes on a big boat.

You get the widest choice of tours, the best pricing, and daily departures — including options with German, French and Thai guides. All tours include hotel pickup from across the island, so logistics are simple regardless of where you're staying.

  • Daily departures November–April; reduced schedule May–October
  • Hotel pickups from Bang Rak, Chaweng, Lamai, Mae Nam, and all major zones
  • Boats depart Nathon Pier at 07:30–08:30 (pickup is 45–75 min earlier)
  • Return to hotels by 17:30–18:30 depending on tour
  • Nathon Pier Koh Samui departure point for Ang Thong Marine Park tours

Common Questions — Koh Samui Departures

Most tours return to Nathon Pier around 17:00–17:30 and have you back at your hotel by 18:00–18:30. Some speedboat tours finish slightly earlier (from 16:30).
Most hotels and guesthouses are covered. If your accommodation is on a narrow lane, the operator may ask you to walk a short distance to a main road pickup point. This is common and operators will advise in advance.
If conditions are unsafe, tours are cancelled — safety always takes priority. You'll be offered a reschedule or a full refund. This is why we always recommend booking tours with free cancellation policies.
Technically possible in low season, but not recommended in November–April when tours fill up. Book at least 2–3 days ahead in peak season — and a week ahead for weekend tours.
