If you bring nothing else, make sure you have these five items.
A pair of trainers or sturdy sandals (with heel straps) is mandatory for the 500m viewpoint hike. Flip-flops are fine for the beach, but dangerous on the steep limestone steps.
Virtually no tour includes the park entrance fee. You must pay this in cash at the check-in counter. Carry small bills.
The tropical sun is intense. Use SPF 50+ and ensure it is "reef-safe" (oxybenzone-free) to protect the coral you'll be snorkelling next to.
Essential for speedboats and kayaking. Protect your phone, camera, and cash from sea spray and the occasional capsize.
